1: Set Target Performance Level
Before learning any skill, it is very important for you to be clear about exactly why you want to learn that skill and how much you want to learn it. For example, I have to learn guitar so that when I get mentally tired, I can refresh my mind. I can sing and chill while hanging out with friends. Not to perform on stage.
In the same way, before learning any skill, all these things must be clear to you. If you think that I have to learn the English language but do not know how much to learn, then you may be confused.

In one experiment, the children in the class were divided into two groups and asked to make clay pots. The first group was told that you would get as many marks as you would make pots.
The second group was told that you just have to make one pot and the better the quality, the better you will get marks. Then on the same instruction, both groups started their work.
A few days later the result was this. The second group worked hard and did a lot of research and made only one pot which was good in quality. But on the other hand, the first group learned from their mistakes and made 18kg pots of the same quality.
And besides, they made 22kg pots of even better quality. These kids learned from their mistakes and made many better pots than the first group. Here this experiment shows how practical actions are so important.
Because most of the time it is the same with us. That we focus more on theory to learn something. But in actual in applying and practice, we spend very little time.
