Because people often judge us over non-verbal communication. By the facial expressions and body language of the other people, we can easily predict what they are thinking and feeling about us.

If a person displays “closed” body language, such as crossed arms or hunched shoulders, after meeting with you it means he is feeling anxious, nervous or angry after meeting with you.

On the contrary, If a  person displays “open” body language, such as both feet on the floor and arms by their side or on the table, then he is feeling positive and happy after meeting with you.
